My escape to Freedom

A couple more steps in the works.  I told the girls I would be home this summer with them.  They seem excited.  I expected jumping up and down with joy but it was more quiet.  They seem happy about it but not jumping up and down.  I guess I thought this would be supper exciting for them.  Perhaps it is but it is to far still with almost a month to go.  17.5 work days to be exact.

Meanwhile I have been doing very exciting research into new hairstyles.

Yup my escape from the corporate world is going to allow me to fall off the cliff into crazy.  I'm thinking a one time fun color.  Before I start looking for a fall job.  

Who Knew?

I learned a few things today.  The first was you can go 39 years with no cavities and suddenly have 5!  How you wonder?  The dentist believes it is stress.  Stress causes me to grind my teeth and also stress can through off your hormonal balances.  So I will be getting my first cavities filled and all I can do is thank work for helping me experience something new in my life.  I was hoping for less drills and needles in my mouth.  One more month is all I have to do.  Just make it one more month.

So I had a great weekend.  I played my first derby game.  It was awesome.  I hit people.  They hit me.  I fell a lot.  I got back up and kept going.  Derby has definitely taught me how strong I can be.  Our team didn't win but it was a close game with lead changes through the whole thing.  I ended with lots of bruises but I don't care.  I played derby.  But it did bring about an awkward moment at my yearly OBGYN appointment today.  I had to explain why I had bruises.  That my house was safe and my husband was not dangerous.
